Dr. Richard S. Baum is a fully licensed and experienced dentist providing comprehensive diagnostic, treatment and preventive services to patients of his New Jersey office since 1992. Dr. Baum treats diseases of the gums, teeth and jaw to help patients restore and maintain strong oral health. He is certified by the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners.
Dr. Baum graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton, before completing his dental degree from the Temple University School of Dentistry, earning special awards in Prosthodontics and Endodontics. After graduating, Dr. Baum completed a General Practice residency at Robert Wood University Hospital, where he gained valuable skills in the treatment of a wide range of dental conditions.

Anita Dickman is a fully licensed dental hygienist with 26 years of experience in the field. She graduated from SUNY Farmingdale with a degree in dental hygiene and followed that with a BA degree in Psychology from SUNY Stony Brook. Anita prides herself on making everyone’s visit as enjoyable as possible. She does this with her soft touch and nice conversational manner that put all her patients at ease. Anita’s interests include boating, snowmobiling and hockey, where she is an avid fan of the New Jersey Devils.
Debbie Mastrobattista received her dental hygiene degree from Farleigh Dickinson University in 1982. Debbie has worked as a dental hygienist for 28 years and has gained valuable knowledge and skill having worked in 3 other private practices. Debbie continues her education by attending dental and dental hygiene seminars on a regular basis. Through these advanced seminars, Debbie has become proficient in the use of antibiotic therapy for the treatment of periodontal disease. She excels at motivating patients to improve their oral health by educating them in proper home care techniques and treatment options.
Heidi Nau graduated with a degree dental hygiene from Ohio State University in 1979. She has vast experience in the field, having worked for 17 years in general dentistry and periodontal offices. Heidi furthers her education yearly by attending several continuing education seminars and is our new product "guru" by staying abreast of the latest and greatest products for use in our office and by our patients at home. Heidi is extremely enthusiastic about dental hygiene and our patients benefit from that with a renewed appreciation for their teeth and gums after their visit
Debra Russo started her career in the dental field when she received her training and degree in dental assisting from Union County Technical Institute in 1979 and then furthered her interest in dentistry by graduating with a degree in dental hygiene from UCTI in 1982. Debra (Deb) brings her extensive experience to our office after having worked for 29 years in the field for both general and periodontal practices. Deb is extremely skillful and her painless technique helps our phobic patients relax and look forward to their next visit.
Beverly Mangold joined our staff in 2003 following a career in the insurance industry with Chubb. She trained alongside Dr. Baum and quickly mastered the skills needed to be a chairside assistant. What makes Beverly stand out is the way she can immediately put an apprehensive patient at ease. She relates to our patients of all ages with her calming and caring conversational style. She is extremely attentive to our patients' needs and truly cares about our patients and the experience they have at our office.
Kathy Montone has worked with Dr. Baum since 1993. She started as a dental assistant in 1990. Our patients can sense the ease with which Kathy does her job, helping Dr. Baum to complete all procedures, even the most difficult, in an efficient and timely manner. With this skill, Kathy and Dr. Baum have a team approach that creates a stress free experience for our patients.
Mary Lynn Tolomeo, our office manager, entered the dental field in 1993, graduating from Central Career School with a degree in dental assisting. She has and continues to attend numerous seminars that help further her knowledge of dental insurance coding and processing, as well as office management and patient relations. She is more than happy to answer any questions a patient may have about scheduling appointments, insurance issues, payment options or other concerns. She works with Dr. Baum to find new and innovative ways to make the patient experience at our office a pleasant one.
